EA Enters the Free Online Game Arena?

Game Informer magazine states that, "EA is starting a free online play business model, and the first announced game is Battlefield Heroes from DICE. The game will be available for free download starting this summer, and DICE says that it will be aimed at both newbies and the Battlefield hardcore alike. Looks like we're not the only ones who have been playing a lot of Team Fortress."


So, free games from EA. Battlefield Heroes.

Love it, hate it? I, for one, will remain skeptical until I get to download it.

          Maybe so. Sad that companies are so money hungry though. It really takes away from the fun of the games and such sometimes.

          Not that money spending isn't necessary in the gaming world, but still.

    I saw that BF Heroes thing a few weeks back, also in the same article, I saw a mention of a pricing stratagy.. Something makes me think that the core game will be free, but there will be charges hidden somewhere..
